An awareness session in CARE foundation

NTRA was keen to raise awareness about the dangers of online identity theft and electronic extortion during an awareness seminar that took place at Care Foundation.

The session attended by the heads of associations concerned with women’s affairs, NTRA team explained how a person’s online identity can be stolen, and the procedures that people should follow to avoid cyber crimes.

EG-CERT participated in session by explaining the consequences and risks of electronic extortion, which is one of the most prominent cyber threats.

The attendees knew how to confront electronic extortion attempts and procedures for preserving accounts and personal data to be able to use the internet safely.
