NTRA organizes an awareness seminar at the financial regulatory authority

As a continuation of NTRA’s campaign that aims to raise cybersecurity awareness, the entity has organized a seminar at the financial regulatory authority.
EG-CERT participated in the seminar to explain the cyber risks and threats, and how to safely use the Internet and various digital services.
The seminar was held for the women of the financial regulatory authority, to learn different types of cyber crimes such as phishing, identity theft and extortion, and how they can avoid these threats by securing devices and accounts, and being careful in dealing with strangers.
The attendees also knew how to deal with fraudulent messages that includes malicious links.
The seminar was part of Computer Emergency Response Center for the Financial Sector (FINCIRT), to raise the financial sector awareness about cybercrime and the ways to address it.
