NTRA organizes an awareness seminar at IEEE Egypt Section

NTRA continued it’s awareness journey, “Cybersecurity is Everyone’s Responsibility”, by organizing a seminar in IEEE Egypt Section, which took place at the headquarters of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, on Saturday the 10th of September.
The session introduced EG-CERT, which protects the national information infrastructure, and responds to incidents and forecasting risks.
It shed light on cybercrime and its continuous development, and how that affects the Egyptian law.
Also, what is the digital evidence? and how does the digital evidence investigation process conducted by the Digital Evidence and Incident Response Team at EG-CERT.
The session was part of a series of seminars and workshops organized by EG-CERT during 2022 to alert people about the dangers of the Internet, how to protect devices, data and confidential information from cyber threats, how to avoid intrusions, and the procedures to be taken in case of emergency.
