NTRA organizes an awareness session in Cairo University

NTRA has organized an awareness seminar about data protection at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
And EG-CERT participated in the seminar, which explained the basics of cybersecurity, and how to preserve files, devices and accounts against cyber crimes.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Hafez, NTRA’s VP for Cybersecurity Affairs, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Hamamy, NTRA’s chief expert and former assistant to the head of the Military Intelligence Authority.
And included a workshop which Eng. Muhannad Raafat explained how to analyze malicious software that may infect devices and access confidential files and data.
It was a part of the awareness convoy “Cybersecurity is Everyone’s Responsibility” which was launched EG-CERT last August to raise society’s awareness about Internet dangers and the importance of protecting data, information and accounts in order to create a safe digital environment which pave to digital transformation.
